Individuals are eligible to receive services if they:
- Migratory Agricultural Worker. An agricultural
worker who travels to do agricultural work and does not have a
permanent residence in S.C. An agricultural worker who travels with
a work visa (H2A/H2B) to US from Mexico or Central America to
do agricultural work only, and live at a camp on the farm
- Seasonal Agricultural Worker. An
agricultural worker who has a permanent residency in S.C., and
during peak farming season works in agriculture. This person
may work in other industries during off farming season such as in
the winter months.
- Family Member of an Agricultural Worker.
A spouse/partner, child, and or parent who relies on the
agricultural worker for financial support.
- Former Agricultural Worker (proper documentation
will be required). Individuals who were principally
employed in agricultural work, but could no longer do so due to
disability or age.
